Les Miserables

I beleive Les Miserables written by Victor Hugo is one of the greatest novels ever written.  I am overwhelmed with how great this book is.  Les Miserables is a book for everyone no matter what genre you enjoy reading.  I am reading this 1500 page book (I know it is a long book but it is still worth it.) and I love it even more than the first time I read it.  Les Miserables clearly deserves 5 stars. I highly recommenced this book for any reader.

Percy Jackson and The Lightning Thief by Rick Riordan

How are you doing? Don't answer that, if you're on this blog you are doing great. Liam here talking about my favorite series in the entire world. Nay, universe. Nay, dimension. As you can see, I really, really like this series. I have loved this series ever since it came out. I have read the entire series, along with what's out of the follow-up series : The Heroes of Olympus. I have even read The Kane Chronicles (the egyptian counterpart, that I will also be doing a review about) by Rick Riordan because I love his work so much. This book is super-duper amazing and you should definitely read.
Percy Jackson used to think he was just a lame kid that couldn't stay in one school and had dyslexia and ADHD. Everything changes, though, when he finds out he is the son of a greek god; Poseidon, the god of the ocean and water. He is taken to Camp Half-Blood. A place for people like him (half-bloods). He finds out that the gods think he took the Master Bolt, Zeus' weapon and the most powerful thing in the universe. Now, Percy must go on a dangerous quest to prove his innocence. I give it 5 stars. Read it.

Prototype 2

Hey, Liam here (once again, Jemima) and talking about Prototype 2, the anticipated sequel to a great game. Prototype 2 reminded me a lot of the Infamous games. A lot. This is expected, seeing as Activision did make both games. Really good game. I think James Heller was more of a bad-ass kind of character that Alex Mercer. His character's past reminded me a lot about Kratos from The God of War series. Don't ask me why, because I don't have a solid answer. The question at hand, though, is this : is it too much like Infamous or Infamous 2. I think it was A LOT like it, but I think it was the perfect amount. Really fun game.
Sergeant James Heller's wife was killed by Alex Mercer, the deranged, and original Prototype. While his wife was gone, Heller couldn't find his daughter, who is now suspected to be dead. Heller is now hell-bent on killing Alex Mercer for revenge. I highly recommend this game. See ya!

The Maze Runner By James Dashner

Hey, Liam here, talking about The Maze Runner by James Dashner. Now, if you liked the Hunger Games (which I did) then you will love this series of books. Recommended for all ages and a fun adventure book.
Thomas wakes up and finds him self surrounded by kids who welcome him to the Glade - a large, open expanse surrounded by stone walls. His memory is blank, the only thing he does remember is his name. He soon finds out that the other kids woke up the exact same way. None of them know how they got their, but what they do know is that every night the maze doors open and seal again and every 30 days a new kid is brought forth. Everyone expected Thomas, but what they didn't expect was for a girl to come out, the only girl ever to be in the Glade. Thomas could be more important than ever. Now, to figure out the secrets shut deep in his mind. Good read, I highly suggest it. 4 and a half stars. Peace out ! :D

The Dark Knight Rises

Wassup?! Liam here. About three weeks ago I saw The Dark Knight Rises, and I really liked it. Now, there was a lot of planning and it was kind of boring. But if you are a batman fan this is a good movie. This follows the storyline almost entirely. I do not want to spill any spoilers but I highly suggest you watch this final installment of The Christopher Nolan Batman series. This movie is very long, though, and like I said it gets kind of boring at times, but if you are a batman fan, watch it. Watch the hell out of it.

Assassins Creed 2

This game is probably my favorite game (Though I think that Assassins Creed 3 will be my favorite).  This game was a revolutionary pivot in gaming. No one had experienced sand-box and free-running in a game like that. Ever. This game was probably the most important installment of the Assassins Creed series because it lit the path for other games like Assassins Creed : Brotherhood, Assassins Creed : Revelations, and the upcoming Assassins Creed 3.
Ezio Auditore is a young boy from a noble merchant, but when he finds out his lineage is of something more honorable (assassins), he needs to buckle up. I highly recommend this.

Jane Eyre (Book) by Charlotte Bronte

Jemima here! :D. Out of all the books out there (and there are a few) Jane Eyre IS my favorite. I didn't think one book could capture so much amounts of drama. Very impressive. I have read this book four times. This might seem excessive to some people but to me, I haven't read it enough! I still scream when something surprising happens, and get the shivers when the book is in suspense. Definitely recommended for all ages. Definitely.
This book is about a orphan who's parents die when she is young. Now, all that she is left with is her horrid aunt, who doesn't treat her well or anything. Her aunt sends her to a school for all girls, and this place is not the nicest place! Now, when she is 19, she decides to be governess (teacher). She ventures out and gets a job offer to be a governess to a little girl. This little girl lives in this huge mansion. Through a series of events, Jane Eyre finds out who the master is, Mr. Rochester. Mr. Rochester comes off as this arrogant, mean, grumpy man. Over all, he was not very nice. Through the books, Jane does go through many trials and so does Mr. Rochester. Through the book, they grow on each other, though... will they end up together? Read it. At last, I give this book 5 stars. I would give it more, but that is the limit. It is not a huge book, either. So if you are looking for a fun, romantic, small book. Jane Eyre is the book for you.
